Stocktake of sepsis management in Aotearoa New Zealand

The Health Quality & Safety Commission worked with Synergia to undertake a stocktake of the current management of sepsis in Aotearoa New Zealand.
The aim was to understand current clinical practices, protocols and guidance across the patient pathway, including the recognition of risk, diagnosis, treatment, management and follow up for sepsis patients in acute and secondary care settings.
This report sets out the findings of the stocktake.
